I thought that you might be interested in our website Loulies which has two features: (1) "e-bites" which are sent out , onaverage, twice a week via email. The are short musings on anything and everything inspired by food and always include a great recipe, must-have tip, menu idea, new ingredient discovered etc. You must sign-up to receive the e-bites. (2) A Cook the Book club for those who want to learn to cookbetter with us (like a traditional book club, but we cook instead of read - this is how Suzanne and I met over 10 years ago and have learned to cook better with friends - it is really a great concept).

Please go to our website and sign-up to gain a better sense of who we are and how our site works. Everything we have written so far is archived on our home page.

Bettina
http://loulies.com/local_foodsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3842615180798774676.post-41132897112967191112007-09-13T10:18:00.000-07:002007-09-13T10:18:00.000-07:00I agree with Kristin that your post is inspiring. ...I agree with Kristin that your post is inspiring. What's more, when I read further to see the one explaining the Eat Local Challenge, I saw that you provided a blueprint to follow. (I thought that I was stopping by weekly since we met at BlogHer but it would seem it's been longer than that.) I'm going to have to figure out what I can manage for this challenge - and, of course, bring into my usual way of living. Thanks for describing the path.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3842615180798774676.post-81345242346661728552007-09-12T22:08:00.000-07:002007-09-12T22:08:00.000-07:00This is very inspiring -- I've really got to get m...This is very inspiring -- I've really got to get my food budget under control. It's nice to see that you can do that and still buy local/fresh.
Believe it or not, my second to last post on my blog had a "foodie" slant, but in a really weird way. I'd like to know what you think of it, (if you're willing to comment) and if you've even heard of it.
Hope you're doing well!
KristinKristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00979431406238988214noreply@blogger.com
